Glutathione Therapy
Glutathione is a potent antioxidant that is naturally produced in the body, with the highest concentration found in the liver. It plays a crucial role in detoxification by neutralizing free radicals, supporting immune function, and promoting cellular health. As a master anxtioxidant, it protects cells from oxidative stress and damage, which is essential for maintaining overall health and preventing chronic diseases.
Benefits of Glutathione
Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that plays a crucial role in detoxifying the body, supporting liver function, and protecting cells from damage. It boosts the immune system, promotes skin health, and helps slow the aging process by reducing oxidative stress. Glutathione is also beneficial for improving energy levels, enhancing mental clarity, and supporting overall wellness. Its ability to neutralize toxins makes it a key component in managing conditions related to liver health, environmental exposures, and overall cellular function.
Detoxification
Glutathione is critical in the body’s ability to detoxify harmful substances, such as heavy metals and environmental pollutants like wildfire smoke and mycotoxins. Glutathione helps to convert these toxins into forms that can be more easily excreted from
the body.
Liver Health
As a primary antioxidant in the liver, glutathione plays a vital role in supporting liver health. It is often used to aid in the management of conditions such as fatty liver disease, impaired liver function, and recovery from alcohol intake, helping to restore optimal liver health.
Overall Wellbeing
Beyond detoxification, glutathione offers a range of benefits for overall health. It has been linked to improved fertility, enhanced skin clarity and radiance, better vascular health, and a stronger immune system. It helps maintain cellular integrity and function, promoting general wellbeing.
Aging and Cellular Health
By reducing oxidative stress at the cellular level, glutathione helps to protect against DNA damage, reduces inflammation, and helps preserve the body’s natural repair mechanisms, making it a critical factor in healthy aging and longevity.
Glutathione Treatment Options
Glutathione is best administered in conjunction with B-vitamins and other cofactor nutrients that are needed in the biochemical pathways that utilize glutathione. This extends the longevity and effectiveness of glutathione treatment. We always recommend pairing glutathione following nutrient therapy like our The Essentials IV.
Glutathione Therapy
We provide up to 1000mg per glutathione treatment, although smaller doses may be recommended in certain cases. Doses higher than 1000mg can be discussed with our on-site doctor on a case-by-case basis and will incur an additional charge.

FAQs
Many of our clients have never heard of glutathione therapy, or have questions about its use. Explore these FAQs below and don’t hesitate to reach out to us to learn more.
- How do I know if I should get glutathione therapy?
While glutathione can benefit anyone, it is most recommended for individuals with compromised liver function or high oxidative stress either due to frequent or recent illness, high stress, lack of sleep, poor diet, medication use, smoke or other environmental exposures, and alcohol intake.
- How often should I receive glutathione therapy?
The frequency of glutathione therapy depends on your health needs and goals. For general wellness and antioxidant support, treatments may be recommended weekly or monthly. For more intensive detoxification or chronic health conditions, more frequent sessions may be recommended.
- Can I take glutathione without combining it with other vitamins?
Although it is possible to take glutathione on its own, it is most effective when combined with IV vitamin therapy. Vitamins such as B2, B12, and vitamin C along with other cofactors are essential to the metabolic pathways that utilize gluathione, especially at the large doses provided in IV treatment.
- Are there any side effects to glutathione therapy?
Glutathione is generally well-tolerated but in select circumstances side effects may be experienced in states of high toxic burden, oxidative stress, or low vitamin status. Effects may include GI upset and/or feeling generally unwell. If experienced, these effects are short-lived and resolve on their own.
